We spent our Sunday sipping margaritas & enjoying
fajitas with sincere, meaningful conversation.
There were no pretenses, and the openness we shared
with one another about our trials & blessings was unburdening.
I love that through being a Christian, I’m gifted family no matter where I go.
London may have been voted the “Loneliness Capital of Europe”
but I haven’t felt that thanks to the ’family’ I have here.
People tend to build deep relationships once they dare
to dive beneath surface level conversation.
So go ahead, keep an open heart, let new seeds grow,
and enjoy the gift that is community.
We all need community.
”And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:24-25
