The Best Highlighter I’ve Ever Used

Okay real life scenario – You can sleep in for thirty more minutes and have only five-ten minutes for your makeup or you can get up right now. What do you do?

I always go for the extra sleep. Always. But it’s because I’ve got my makeup routine down to a few essentials that work best for me. I want to share with you all one of my all time favorite products – the highlighter. After foundation/bronzer/blush (FBB), I add a stripe of highlighter on both sides of my face, the edge of my nose, and I’m ready to go! Some days I don’t even wear FBB and just opt for highlighter because I love it so much!

You can shop the Becca Highlighter here. I explain how I use it in the video above.
It really is the best highlighter I’ve used till date.
The pictures below show you what the final product looks like.
I also use an angled makeup brush and a brush cleaner for best results.

Do you use highlighter? If you do, what’s your favorite brand? If you don’t, definitely get samples before you spend on a good one. You want the right shade so that it doesn’t make you look ashy. I usually top off my highlighter with a setting spray so I can get a dewy, all day look. Kat Von D setting sprays are great for this!

But if you want the best highlighter, go Becca!

Cheers,

  1. So gorgeous! I was just an ulta yesterday trying to pick out a highlighter and got so over whelmed i left empty handed! lol! I’ll need to try this one!

    • Haha! Yes it can be so overwhelming. Becca was recommended to me by my cousin who is a makeup artist and it’s worked like a dream!

    • Oh nice! I had no idea that could work! My bronzer is most certainly brown haha and then my highlighter is almost white so I can’t exchange my highlighter for my bronzer. 😀

    • Thank you so much! Yes, there are a ton of options out there so it’s helpful to narrow it down and try samples. My cousin recommended this to me and it has worked quite well for me 🙂 I hope it does for you too!
