- What we are doing: Stuff and sew dolls for Dell Medical Center to serve as emotional support dolls. These dolls are also used by doctors to help kids feel comfortable with what they experience while in the hospital.

CENTRAL TEXAS PIG RESCUE
- When: Tuesday, August 13th, 2019 9:00 am to 11:00 am (Everyone is welcome to hang around afterward to play with the pigs)

- Kids: Kids are welcome! Just be sure to keep an eye on them.
- Waiver: Yes! After you sign up CTPR will be in touch and send out a waiver to fill out before the event. For parents bringing their children, be sure each person signs up individually so that everyone has a waiver!
- What to bring: Feel free to bring treats for the pigs like apples, spinach, carrots, zucchini, leafy greens, or watermelons.
- Wear: Be prepared to get dirty! They have lots of muddy pigs that will want to give you kisses. That means come prepared by wearing proper footwear (boots are recommended), clothes that are appropriate for our hot Texas climate, and gloves if you’d like.
- What we are doing: We’ll be learning how to do chores around the rescue, including scooping poop, filling water, and putting out hay. We will learn rescue etiquette including how to properly latch gates, navigate the property, and approach pigs! Be prepared to give lots of belly rubs as well!

THE COMFORT CREW

- What we are doing: Make comfort kits for military children whose parents are being deployed. These kits contain DVDs, journals, Cuzzie the plush toy, dog tags, and postcards to help the children get through the deployment.
