Small Business Saturday Featuring frvrlnd + Rebecca Taylor Photography

It’s about that time again—time for Small Business Saturday! There are two female business owners I want to showcase this week. Rowen Van Ingen Bartholomew, owner of frvrlnd, and Rebecca Taylor Parks, owner of Rebecca Taylor Photography. Ever since I’ve had the pleasure of befriending these ladies, I’ve known that their crafts are a huge part of who they are. They made legitimate businesses rooted in their specific passions, and that never ceases to inspire me.

Rowen is the creator of frvrlnd. When you meet Rowen, you automatically wonder if you’ve been transported into an ethereal world of beauty, art, and charm. She has a “mysterious and edgy but you want to be her best friend” spirit, which definitely shines through to her brand and creations. Rowen uses raw, base materials like wood or copper or plaster and pairs them with playful shapes and forms to create something that is at once both understated and full of personality. She firmly believes that black will always be the new black (preach, girl!) and is all about quality over quantity.

Along with frvrlnd.com, she has a wide assortment of awesome furniture and products she’s made on rowenrowen.com. If you want finely created, long-lasting, memorable pieces in your home, peruse her collections. You can check out her work on her website and on her Instagram!

If you want gorgeous pictures and a lovely experience with an easy-to-know gal, Rebecca is your photographer! She’s a wedding & portrait photographer based in Austin, TX, and her big love for what she does shines through in every single picture she snaps. Her style of photography emphasizes natural light and genuine interactions. She captures the authenticity of your everyday life, from the subtle nose kisses to the inside jokes. Rebecca captures the giggles and moments that truly embody this unique season of your life.

She wants her clients (and anyone getting pictures taken) to know that they are wonderful and photogenic just the way they are! In her own words, “Your true self and the love you share with others is so photo-worthy to me.” Check out her work on her website and her Instagram. She’s super quick to communicate with clients, so she will get back to you ASAP. 🙂

Check them out and let me know what you think! If you have anyone in mind who should be featured on Small Business Saturday, send them my way! I love getting to know women who want more, start more, and pursue the passions within their hearts. If you missed the first Small Business Saturday, click here. Remember, this is a series showcasing talented female businesses/vendors/creators that everybody needs to know about. So let’s get the word out on these ladies!

Cheers,
